When each kind is used and what happens at ZATCA: clearance before sharing, or reporting within 24 hours.

How does Shamel Hub pick the kind?
When you choose the customer:
- if the customer has a VAT number, the invoice is standard;
- otherwise it is simplified.
You can change the invoice kind by hand on a draft, but a standard invoice is refused when required buyer details are missing.
Counter sale
Counter sale invoices for walk-in customers are simplified and print a receipt with the QR code.
What do "Cleared" and "Reported" mean?
- Cleared: ZATCA accepted the standard invoice and it is now a valid tax invoice; share it with the customer.
- Reported: ZATCA recorded the simplified invoice.
- Rejected: the reasons are on the submissions page. Void the rejected invoice, then issue a corrected one.
